The Recipe Seeker

"The Recipe Seeker" is a culinary journey of discovery on SWR, in which presenter and food journalist Susanne Nett travels through the regions of southwest Germany to discover traditional recipes and the stories behind them. In each episode, she visits a different place and goes in search of a typical, regional dish. She meets passionate amateur cooks, farmers or chefs who not only tell her their favorite recipes, but also their personal connection to the dishes. "The Recipe Seeker" shows how diverse and rich in traditions the cuisine of the southwest is and invites viewers to try out the recipes for themselves and bring a piece of home to the plate. The show combines culinary delights with regional culture and awakens the desire to get to know new dishes and traditions.
