"Kripo live - On the trail of perpetrators" is an MDR crime show that deals with current criminal cases in central Germany. The show supports the police in their search for perpetrators and missing persons by asking viewers for help. Each episode presents unsolved criminal cases in which the investigating authorities hope for information from the public. With the help of reconstructed scenes, witness reports and interviews with the investigating officers, the course of events is recreated in great detail in order to give viewers an accurate picture of what happened. There are also reports of successful searches and arrests.
